Spellcircle ("the app", "we", "us", "our") is a free, offline word puzzle game developed and published by Cyber Devs Pvt Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you install and play it on your Android device.
This policy applies to the Google Play application identified by the package name com.cyberdevspvtltd.wordswipe.
By downloading, installing, or using Spellcircle, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the app.
Spellcircle does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal or sensitive user data. Specifically, the app does not collect:
There is no registration, no sign-in, and no user profile. The app never asks you for personal information because it has no use for it.
To let you resume a puzzle, keep your progress, and remember your preferences, Spellcircle saves a small amount of game data locally using Android's standard SharedPreferences storage. This data stays in the app's private storage area on your device. It is never uploaded, backed up to our servers, or transmitted anywhere, because the app has no network capability.
You can erase everything the app has stored at any time in two ways:
Once cleared, this data is permanently gone. We hold no copy of it and cannot restore it.
Spellcircle requests no Android permissions. The app's manifest declares no runtime or install-time permissions, including no INTERNET permission. As a result, the app is technically incapable of sending or receiving any data over a network.
Fully offline. Every level, word, and dictionary entry is bundled inside the app. You can play with your device in airplane mode from the first level to the last.
Spellcircle contains no third-party software development kits, libraries, or services that collect data. In particular, the app includes:
Coins shown in the game are a fictional, offline scoring element. They have no monetary value, cannot be purchased, and cannot be exchanged for anything outside the app.
If you obtained the app from Google Play, Google may collect information related to app distribution and installation under its own policies. That processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and is outside our control.
Spellcircle is suitable for all ages and is designed to comply with the Google Play Families Policy and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects no personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). The app contains no ads, no external links inside gameplay, no chat or user-generated content, no social features, and no purchases.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has somehow provided personal information through this app, please contact us at the address below and we will respond promptly. In practice, no such data can be transmitted to us, as the app has no network access.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection regarding your personal data. Because Spellcircle never collects or processes personal data, and stores game data only locally on your own device, we hold nothing to disclose, correct, export, or delete. You exercise full control over the locally stored data yourself using the steps in Section 3.
We do not collect personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we have never sold or shared personal information. There is no data category to request, delete, or opt out of.
The same applies to comparable laws elsewhere, including Brazil's LGPD, Canada's PIPEDA, and India's DPDP Act. No personal data is collected, processed, transferred internationally, or retained by us at any time.
All game data stays inside the app's private sandbox directory, which Android protects from other applications on the device. Since nothing is transmitted or stored on external servers, there is no risk of a server-side breach exposing your information.
Data is retained on your device for as long as the app remains installed, and is deleted when you clear the app's data or uninstall it. We retain no data ourselves and therefore operate no retention schedule.
Please note that the security of data on your device also depends on your device's own protections, such as a screen lock and up-to-date system software.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app changes or to reflect new legal requirements. Any revision will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Significant changes will also be described in the app's release notes on Google Play.
Continuing to use Spellcircle after an update means you accept the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page occasionally.
